The Demon

After several weeks of tweaking I'm finally satisfied with the Demon character. I reworked the mouth, taking out the sharp angles and smoothing it all out. This should make it a little easier to animate.

After the Thesis review called my models the weakest aspect of my project I've redesigned them.
I started looking at Japanese Noh Masks and Woodcuts for a little inspiration and here is what they are starting to look like.

I finally got the FisherGod head looking more like a face and less like a mask. He actually is starting to remind me of Teal'c from Stargate SG1.

O.K. here goes my first Blog attempt.

What to get done this quarter.

 1. Retouch and finish modeling the demon character and the demon koi.
 2. Finish the character design for the Fisherman/God, and model him.
 3. Have the characters textured and rigged so i can start animating next quarter.

Thats rather general for now,  I still have a lot to learn about Texturing and Rendering and I'm sure I'll come up with other things to add to this list as the quarter progresses.

Now i've got to get back on that animatic for Vals class.
